    June 25th at 6:00pm!!

Join us to relax and catch up off the bike in a more comfortable setting :)

Please signup on our calendar if you want to join us at Maple Branch Brewing.  It offers an impressive range of beers, including award-winning options, along with wine, food, and a coffee bar. We have reserved a private area just for our group, and the Club will be providing a round of appetizers for everyone to enjoy. Since the brewery is just one block from Angelo's BBQ, you can dine at Maple Branch or enjoy a drink there before walking over to Angelo's for BBQ.

Please register so we can estimate attendance. We hope you’ll join us to eat, enjoy a drink, and, most of all, connect with fellow club members.

For more information about the brewery, visit Maple Branch Brewing

The FWBA Board has unanimously decided not to participate in the "Parade of Lights Reimagined" this year. Due to restrictions on the types of groups allowed, FWBA does not qualify as a participant, so save your lights and Christmas attire for 2021!!

Additionally, because of current pandemic concerns, the Board unanimously agreed to postpone the 2020 FWBA Christmas Party until December 12, 2021, at Blue Mesa Grill.

On May 18, 2020 Governor Abbott announced we are in the second phase for reopening Texas.

Therefore, the FWBA club will reopen sponsored rides on May 30, and the ride calendar will be repopulated by mid-June. Please keep in mind, we still need to following the Minimum Health Protocols for Individuals by practicing social distancing to slow the spread of Covid-19, especially in gatherings of 10 people or more.

The virus that causes COVID-19 can be spread to others by infected persons who have few or no symptoms. Even if an infected person is only mildly ill, the people they spread it to may become seriously ill or even die, especially if that person is 65 or older with pre-existing health conditions that place them at higher risk. Because of the hidden nature of this threat, everyone should rigorously follow the practices specified in these protocols, all of which facilitate a safe and measured reopening of Texas. The virus that causes COVID-19 is still circulating in our communities. We should continue to observe practices that protect everyone, including those who are most vulnerable.

I moved from Levelland, TX in 2011 to Weatherford.  I was an active flat land rider with a couple of friends in our small town.  For several years I rode alone here until one day while riding my MTB a friendly gentlemen rode up behind me and began visiting.  He was on a faster road bike; however, he rode the 15 mile loop with me and informed me about the wonderful folks in the FWBA and all the fun rides, events and fellowship that you all enjoy.  He told me how close I live to numerous riders from the club-- I had no idea!  He encouraged me to join FWBA.  What a wonderful suggestion!  I have so enjoyed the fellowship, experience, and knowledge of the sport that members have shared.  Your hospitality is unmatched, FWBA.  I am a proud, proud member.  Thank you Wayne Kirby, for the introduction.

If my memory serves me well I was a member of FWBA in 1970 or it could have been 1971. The meetings were held in some building on or off of Bailey St. near W. 7th. My wife and I both had Peugeot 10 speed bikes. The one event that I remember us going on was a weekend camping and ride in East Texas somewhere around Bonham. I finally sold that bike in 2007 and have recently been thinking about getting a bike to ride on the Trinity Trails. It’s good to see that the club is still around and active after 50 years.-- David Lanford
