New Cyclists to FWBA: Welcome! This is a temporary Thursday event until the completion of construction along our typical Lake Benbrook ride from the YMCA. There is no formal Ride Leader for this event! The scheduled rides will typically have three main groups “A, B and C” as described below. Riders need to be able to meet pace and distance requirements for a safe enjoyable ride. At the start of this event, riders will meet, and identify the pace and distance groups. All riders are expected to download their preferred routes with a RWGPS compatible device and carry any water and nutritional needs for your ride. This ride is an out and back so riders can choose to shorten the route if needed. The ride will start promptly at the designated time so arrive early to get ready. Please know that construction in the area can cause changes not on the maps.
Note: Pyvot Homes has welcomed the biking community to their property. They will allow us to park along Latern Ridge Dr. at the start of the ride, and provide water and a clean bathroom (model home). Treat our host and their consumers with respect. Please leave your biking shoes at the door, car or the designated area.
