As of October 9, 2025, this ride will start from the lot outside the South Gate of South Holiday Park.  The group will park in the dirt parking lot along Pearl Ranch Road. Please do not park on the road or block the road (car/bike) during the event.  FYI:  Simplified directions to Start:  take 377, Turn on Pearl Ranch Road, drive a couple miles east to dirt lot before Park Entrance.  

Routes include a 14 miles through Holiday Park, Bear Creek to 171 with options of Baker Rd or Airpot Rd Loop, and finally Goforth to the City of Cresson. 

Pace:  There is always slower casual 14-35 mile ride. Many riders in group 2 go 36 to 50 miles and ride a little faster (15-19 mph).  The FWBA Rusties also ride in the area 14-30 miles (10-15 mph), most of the time at the same time and place.  See calendar.

In early 2026 when Lake Shore drive construction is complete, we will ride from the Benbrook Y parking lot.We meet near the restroom that is at the southwest side of the Y. So go past the Y on the west side and you’ll see the restroom at the south end of the parking lot, near the ball fields and track. No fee to park at Y. But, go around it and park near restroom.

The Corp of Engineers requires a $2 fee to enter the park or a pass. Save your receipt as one receipt works in both parks.
