Come enjoy the annual FWBA alternative to "that other" ride up in the flatlands. We will have beautiful scenery, hills, quiet roads, and of course the obligatory Texas wind and heat, hills, fun, swimming, and food. We will NOT have 15,000 crazy people, 2 night minimum hotel stays, or flat boring routes. We will use the same routes as last year, which were GREAT!
There will be short “Fun Ride” loops of approximately 10 and 20 miles (one or two loops around 7R) that stay on top of Clayton Mountain. You won’t have to descend or climb “Art’s Way Way Up”! Great for your significant other or kids.
The 60, 77, and 100 milers will start at 7:00, and the 10, 20, 43 milers will start at 8:00.
We will still start at the Sundance Club. Non-riding significant others are welcome to enjoy the pool until riders get back. Lunch will still be available after the ride with menu items in the $8 - $12 range. Stay and swim as long as you like! (Grab breakfast on your way on the drive out, nobody missed the buffet we previously offered!)
There may be a gate code you will need to know, and I will let registrants know if needed.
