Dana Pacino and I had a bit of brainstorm on New Years Day and here is what happened.
Come to Glen Rose on July 16-18 for a fun weekend of light riding and heavy shopping, and fun. If we run out of things to buy in Glen Rose there is Granbury close by.
Glen Rose Chamber host a Girls Night Out monthly and I thought it would be fun to for some of us biker chicks to join in, so here is the skinny.
Friday: July 16
Check in to the Holiday Inn Express, 113 Paluxy Summit Blvd. Glen Rose TX
I have arranged group rates for you Girls, just make sure you ask for the FWBA rate.
Dinner will be across the street at 7:00pm at “On the Rocks”
Saturday: July 17
A light ride of 26 miles will start from the hotel at 7:00am to beat the heat. After which we can dress for lunch and shopping. The evening entertainment will be live music at the Storie Book Café. Storie says she will even have a Margarita machine ready for us and a nice private room that opens up to be front row to the band. Check out the website: www.storiebookcafe.com
Sunday: July 18
Let’s Ride for Pie, Hico is a fun spot too with my favorite Coconut Cream Pie. I have to thank Jerry Debo for introducing me to it on my first trip to Leakey in 1998. It would be OK to invite your man down for this ride.
This could be the weekend you make a new friend or have fun with the old ones. I first met Marge Knavel on girls weekend out and we have been friends ever since.
